The Rev. Gretchen Thomas is the author of Walking in Others’ Shoes: Stories from the Early Years of the Partner Church Movement, which describes the new international partnerships that emerged between North American UU congregations and Unitarian churches in Transylvania, Romania, after the end of the Cold War. She now lives in Melbourne, Australia.
