The Rev. Vanessa Rush Southern is minister of the Unitarian Church of Summit, New Jersey. She is the author of the UUA Meditation Manual This Piece of Eden (Skinner House, 2001) and served on the UUA Fiftieth Anniversary Task Force in 2010-2011.
