Aytaç Aydoğan Edwards, a member of the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of Bellport, on Long Island, New York, was born and raised in Istanbul, Turkey. Her poetry reflects her upbringing in a secular society as well as the influences of her Sufi grandmother. Her collection of poems, Between Two Worlds, was published in 2011.
